Join us for a series of film screenings at Johns Hopkins University, Morgan State University, and Goucher College, celebrating the oeuvre of award-winning Afro-Cuban film maker Gloria Rolando. We welcome you to gather with us to screen and discuss Gloria’s films, intended to “plant a seed in the consciousness, mobilizing the minds of viewers within and outside of Cuba” and intervene in the continued erasure of Black histories. Events take place Nov. 11th (JHU), Nov. 13th (Morgan State) and Nov. 18th (Goucher College). The JHU screening will take place in Gilman 50, from 6 - 8:00 pm. You can register here. To register for the screening at Goucher College on Nov. 18th, please use this form. You can register to attend the screening and reception at Morgan State University here.
